Job summary

vTech Solution in Towson, MD is seeking a Senior GIS Programmer/Systems Analyst to develop and support enterprise GIS applications, migrate ArcMap AddIns to ArcGIS Pro AddIns, and support the Agricultural Preservation Model.

The role collaborates with the Office of Information Technology's GIS Program and the Office of Planning, and operates on a hybrid schedule with onsite work and remote days.

Qualifications

• Minimum five (5) years experience developing and modifying applications using J2EE, .NET, JavaScript, HTML, C#, and Python.
• At least three (3) years working with ESRI ArcGIS technologies including ArcGIS Server, ArcGIS APIs, ArcGIS JavaScript API, Esri SDKs, and ArcSDE.
• Experience with ArcGIS Model Builder and Python scripting.
• Strong knowledge of SQL, including triggers and stored procedures.
• Experience developing reports using SSRS and Power BI.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain GIS applications in an enterprise GIS environment.
• Perform code reviews, documentation, planning, and development tasks.
• Assist in upgrading custom ArcMap AddIns to ArcGIS Pro AddIns using C# and Python.
• Support database development and management related to GIS applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support GIS program initiatives.
