Job summary

Turning Point Global Solutions is seeking a Sr. GIS Programmer / Systems Analyst to support the Office of Information Technology’s GIS program and the Office of Planning in Towson, MD.

The role focuses on upgrading and developing an Agricultural Preservation Model, migrating a ArcMap Add-In to ArcGIS Pro. The position is a 6-month contract with a hybrid work schedule (3 days in Towson, MD) and provides opportunities to influence enterprise GIS systems and data architecture, with emphasis on

Qualifications

• >5 years experience developing/modifying applications using J2EE, .NET, JavaScript, HTML, C#, Python.
• 3+ years experience with Esri ArcGIS technologies, ArcGIS Server, APIs, ArcSDE.
• Experience with ArcGIS ModelBuilder and Python.
• Strong knowledge of SQL, triggers, stored procedures; reports with SSRS and Power BI.
• Strong knowledge of relational databases (Oracle/SQL Server).
• Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform GIS application development within an Enterprise GIS environment.
• Conduct code reviews, technical documentation, planning, and software development.
• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise databases.
