Job summary

Wellstar in Georgia is seeking an Endoscopy Technician III to support GI procedures and patient care in the Endoscopy lab. You will assist nurses and physicians, prepare the procedure room, and ensure sterile fields for ERCP and EUS procedures while maintaining equipment and supplies.

Qualified candidates have 1–2 years of endoscopy experience, a high school diploma or GED, BLS certification, and SGNA GI Tech Specialist credentials.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of endoscopy experience.
• BLS certification is required.
• SGNA GI Tech Specialist certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Proficient in general endoscope procedures, including ERCP and/or EUS.
• Prepare and maintain procedure room and sterile field.
• Operate GI equipment and troubleshoot as needed during procedures.
• Assist physicians and nurses during procedures.
• Coordinate instrument and supply readiness for scheduled and emergent cases.
• Maintain infection control standards and assist with scope reprocessing.
