Job summary

Coinbase is seeking a senior GFCO Program Manager (L6) to own one or more complex compliance programs across SAM, EDD, Screening, and Complaints. You will drive cross-functional delivery with Finance, Legal, Tech, and Operations, ensuring regulatory soundness and scalable processes worldwide.

You will craft charters, roadmaps, and decision documents for Director+ audiences, and lead launch readiness for new jurisdictions and entity expansions, while delivering automation-driven efficiency gains.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of program or project management experience, with 3+ years in financial crimes compliance.
• Ability to independently drive large-scale, multi-stakeholder programs in a regulated environment.
• Deep AML/CFT program operations knowledge (SAM/TMS, EDD, Screening, SAR workflows).
• Strong strategy and storytelling skills for Director+ audiences.
• Experience driving operational efficiency and cost savings through automation programs.
• Proficiency with Asana, Jira, Smartsheet and data tools like Looker and Snowflake.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end program strategy, planning, and execution for complex GFCO compliance program areas.
• Develop and drive program charters, roadmaps, and governance frameworks for long-tail programs.
• Lead cross-functional delivery across 5+ XFN teams and align with Director+ level stakeholders.
• Translate regulatory obligations and model performance into actionable program strategies.
• Own launch readiness for new products, jurisdictions, and entity expansions.
• Proactively identify risks and manage priorities with transparent trade-off recommendations.
• Drive cost savings projections across automation initiatives with validated outcomes.
• Maintain intake discipline for automation requests with documented requirements.
• Author strategy documents (P/PSs, RAPIDs, charters) for Director/VP decision-making.
• Lead responses to major events and regulatory deadlines within GFCO.
