Job summary

Coinbase is seeking a GFCO Program Manager (L6) to own end-to-end compliance programs and coordinate across 5+ teams to translate regulatory obligations into actionable strategies.

You will drive charters, roadmaps, and governance, ensuring readiness for launches across jurisdictions with a data-driven, risk-aware approach. Strong stakeholder management and communication are required at the Director/VP level.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of program or project management experience, with 3+ years in financial crimes compliance, AML, BSA/AML operations, or a related regulatory domain.
• Independent at driving large-scale, multi-stakeholder programs in regulated environments with minimal guidance
• Deep understanding of AML/CFT program operations, including SAM/TMS, EDD, Screening, and SAR workflows, and the supporting tech landscape (TMS, CMS)
• Experience navigating Known Problem / Unknown Solution environments with constraints
• Strong strategy and storytelling skills for Director+ audiences
• Track record of improving operational efficiency and cost savings through automation with measurable outcomes
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management; comfortable influencing at Director/VP level
• Bachelor's degree required; fields of study in Business, Technology, Operations, Finance, Law, or related discipline preferred
• References required (mandatory for L6+ roles)

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end program strategy, planning, and execution for one or more complex GFCO program areas
• Develop and drive program charters, roadmaps, and governance frameworks
• Lead cross-functional delivery across 5+ XFN teams and drive alignment at the Director+ level
• Translate regulatory obligations and model signals into actionable program strategies
• Own launch readiness for new products, jurisdictions, and entity expansions
• Identify and resolve program risks with GFCO leadership
• Drive cost savings projections across automation initiatives
• Own intake discipline for the program area with formal requirements and testing plans
• Author and maintain high-quality strategy documents for Director/VP decisions
• Manage feedback loop between automation outputs, QC findings, and investigator feedback
• Lead major incident/reaction efforts within GFCO
