Job summary

Coinbase is seeking a GFCO Program Manager (L6) to own end-to-end compliance programs across multiple cross-functional teams, including Regulatory obligations, automation, and launches. You will partner with Compliance Tech, EAA, Analytics, and Legal to translate obligations into scalable programs, driving improvements and risk mitigation.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of program or project management experience, in regulated environments.
• Ability to independently drive large-scale programs with minimal guidance.
• Deep understanding of AML/CFT program operations (SAM/TMS, EDD, Screening, SAR workflows).
• Experience navigating Known Problem / Unknown Solution environments with constraints.
• Strong strategy and storytelling skills for Director+ audiences.
• Track record of delivering cost savings via automation with measurable outcomes.
• Proficiency with Asana, Jira, Smartsheet and data tools (Looker, Snowflake, Google Sheets).
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management at Director/VP level.
• Bachelor's degree; preferred fields include Business, Technology, Operations, Finance, Law.
• References required (mandatory for L6+ roles).

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end program strategy, planning, and execution for complex GFCO areas.
• Develop charters, roadmaps, and governance for multi-constraint programs.
• Lead cross-functional delivery across 5+ teams and external parties.
• Translate regulatory obligations into actionable program strategies and training content.
• Ensure launch readiness for new products, jurisdictions, and entity expansions.
• Identify and resolve program risks with transparent trade-off recommendations.
• Drive cost savings projections from automation initiatives with validated outcomes.
• Manage intake processes and testing plans for automation requests.
