The Staff Physical Therapist at Costa Del Sol Healthcare East Los Angeles Healthcare, LLC evaluates and treats residents, collaborates with families, physicians, and the health team, and maintains documentation in medical records.

You will develop, implement, and update individualized treatment plans to improve mobility, balance, and independence; supervise PT assistants; and educate residents, families, and staff on goals, home exercise programs, and safety techniques.

Formación

• Licensed Physical Therapist in the state; maintain license in good standing.
• Masters or Doctorate in Physical Therapy preferred.
• CPR certification if required by licensure.

Responsabilidades

• Evaluate residents to determine PT needs and rehabilitation potential.
• Develop, implement, and update individualized treatment plans to improve mobility, strength, balance, and independence.
• Supervise Physical Therapy Assistants in direct resident care.
• Communicate with physicians, nursing staff, and families regarding progress and discharge planning.
• Complete timely, accurate documentation in accordance with regulations.
• Maintain a safe treatment environment and educate residents and families on goals and home programs.
• Participate in care conferences and quality initiatives.
• Educate staff on therapy programs and fall prevention strategies.
