Job summary

Regency Integrated Health Services seeks an Occupational Therapist to assess and improve patients' functional abilities at Oak Grove Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Groves, TX. The role involves developing individualized therapy plans and coordinating care with the Rehab Director and clinical team.

The OT will educate patients and families on treatment activities, monitor progress, and document outcomes while maintaining professional standards and confidentiality in a busy rehab setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an Occupational Therapy curriculum with active Texas licensure.
• Two years of appropriate experience in OT preferred.
• Ability to drive and travel as required by patient care schedule.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments and reassessments of patient function using diagnostic and prognostic procedures.
• Plan and supervise individualized therapeutic programs to restore function and independence in ADLs.
• Coordinate with Rehab Director and other professionals to integrate therapy into the plan of care.
• Instruct patients and families in therapeutic activities for improving function and independence.
• Observe and document patient responses to treatments and changes in condition.
