Job summary

Quaise Energy, Inc. is seeking a Lead Reservoir Engineer to design and lead reservoir simulations for Enhanced Geothermal Systems (EGS) development. You will translate analytical reservoir models into field-ready concepts and guide diagnostic programs across projects.

You will work closely with drilling, completions, power plant design, and exploration geology teams, delivering technical recommendations for optimization and injection management while advancing safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in petroleum, mechanical, chemical engineering or related discipline.
5+ years of reservoir engineering, oil and gas, subsurface development, or related experience.
10+ years of geoscience experience in geothermal, EGS, oil and gas, mining, or subsurface industries preferred.
Experience leading exploration or subsurface evaluation programs from concept through drilling or appraisal.

Responsibilities

Lead reservoir simulations to evaluate design scenarios, completions hardware, and power plant design criteria.
Advise on diagnostic programs (pressure transient tests, DFITs, step-rate tests) and interpretation of data.
Provide input on reservoir properties, fracture behavior, and well performance across projects.
Integrate diagnostic findings into reservoir models and development plans.
Collaborate with geoscience, drilling, completions, facilities, and power-generation teams.
