Job summary

Bunnell-Lammons Engineering, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated Project Engineer to lead environmental, geotechnical, and civil projects. This hands-on role covers planning, execution, and closeout from conception to completion near Greenville, SC.

The Geotechnical Group supports municipal, industrial, residential, and commercial clients. A SC PE license or reciprocity is required with 5–12 years of related experience and supervisory duties.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field.
• Licensed Professional Engineer in SC or reciprocity.
• 5–12 years in geotechnical engineering and/or materials testing.
• 3+ years in supervisory or management role.
• Knowledge of geotechnical design and construction requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead geotechnical investigations including site reconnaissance, drilling oversight, sampling, and field data collection.
• Mentor junior engineers and oversee project team deliverables.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, and vendors throughout the project lifecycle.
• Prepare engineering reports, specifications, drawings, and project documentation.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards and project schedules.
