The role demands extensive geotechnical expertise, strong communication, and travel to multiple offices and project sites. A PE license and a track record of managing complex underground work are essential.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil Engineering or related field required; MS/PhD strongly preferred.
• 14–20+ years of Geotechnical or Civil Engineer experience.
• Proficient knowledge of underground design standards and practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor engineers and staff; oversee underground services projects.
• Plan, coordinate, and oversee designs for tunnel and underground infrastructure.
• Prepare plans, specifications, calculations, and cost estimates; review reports.
