Hillis-Carnes Engineering Associates (HCEA) is a multi-disciplinary EE firm seeking a senior geotechnical engineer in New Jersey. The role involves preparing geotechnical reports and calculations, supporting field staff, and reviewing inspection data for public and private clients.

Qualified candidates will have 12+ years in geotechnical consulting, an ABET-accredited engineering degree, and a New Jersey PE license or reciprocity within 3 months.

Qualifikationen

• Local to Northern New Jersey or willing to relocate
• Bachelor and/or Master of Science in Civil Engineering, Geological Engineering, or ABET-accredited field
• 12+ years of progressive geotechnical engineering consulting experience
• Professional Engineering license in New Jersey or reciprocity within 3 months of hire
• Willingness and ability to mentor junior staff

Aufgaben

• Prepare geotechnical reports and calculations
• Provide technical support to field staff
• Review daily field inspection reports
• Conduct occasional project site visits and client interactions
• Possibility of transitioning to Managing Principal based on qualifications
