Hillis-Carnes Engineering Associates seeks a senior geotechnical engineer to lead complex projects in the Lehigh Valley region. You will prepare geotechnical reports and calculations, support field staff, and participate in client communications.

Requirements include 12+ years in geotechnical consulting, an ABET-accredited engineering degree, and PA PE license or reciprocity within 3 months. Mentoring junior staff and business development are expected.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited civil/geotechnical engineering degree required.
• 12+ years of progressive geotechnical engineering consulting experience.
• PA Professional Engineer license or ability to obtain via reciprocity within 3 months.
• Willingness to mentor junior staff and lead project teams.

Responsibilities

• Prepare geotechnical reports and calculations.
• Provide technical support to field staff and review daily inspection reports.
• Perform site visits and client coordination for projects.
• Support business development and potential advancement to leadership roles.
