Job summary

AET is seeking a Senior Geotechnical Engineer to coordinate and lead multi-disciplinary project testing services. You will train a project team, supervise field staff, and prepare geotechnical reports with recommendations.

The role includes marketing duties to achieve department and company goals, with regional travel and client interaction. Candidates should have a Civil/Geotechnical engineering background, PE registration, and the ability to obtain registrations in other states.

Qualifications

• BS/BE in Civil or Geological Engineering with 10+ years of related experience or an advanced degree with 8+ years.
• PE registration is required; ability to obtain registrations in other states is needed.
• Experience leading multi-disciplinary geotechnical projects with client interaction.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage projects from inception to completion, including scheduling, budgeting and client communication.
• Direct field testing and supervise staff, engineers and technicians.
• Prepare and review formal geotechnical reports and recommendations.
• Develop marketing and business development activities to meet department goals.
• Represent the firm to clients and professional audiences, presenting solutions and advancements.
