Job summary

BLE, Bunnell-Lammons Engineering, Inc., is seeking a Senior Geotechnical Engineering Consultant to advance regional geotech capabilities and lead complex projects for long-term clients. You will drive technical excellence, oversee projects, mentor staff, and expand service offerings within our growing Geotech Group.

You will work with solid waste, mining, and power industry projects, contributing to design, exploration, site operations, and risk mitigation while building enduring professional

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Civil Engineering with geotechnical focus (Master's preferred).
• PE license in SC or NC, with ability to obtain in SE states.
• Extensive knowledge of geotechnical design, retaining structures and ground improvement.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% for site meetings and business development.

Responsibilities

• Perform technical oversight, project management, client management, and business development for the Regional Geotech Group.
• Provide mentorship and coaching to staff and project engineers within the geotechnical group.
• Cultivate partnerships with stakeholders to drive growth and market position.
• Oversee internal training seminars to promote learning and knowledge sharing.
• Review proposals and participate in business development for new revenue streams.
• Review written reports and ensure quality and client commitment.
• Explore and adopt new technologies to improve project efficiency and quality.
