Job summary

Mi-Tech Services Inc. in Minnesota seeks a Senior Geostructural Engineer to apply geotechnical and structural principles to earth retaining structures, deep foundations, and ground improvement. You will develop calculation submittals and coordinate design and shop drawings for projects

Responsibilities include supporting pursuits and bids, mentoring engineers, and coordinating with design and field teams. Some travel is possible but not routine.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering (geotechnical/structural).
• Master’s degree preferred in geotechnical or structural engineering.
• 4+ years of experience in earth retaining structures, deep foundations, or ground improvement.
• Active PE license in any state.
• Proficiency with MS Excel, Mathcad, AutoCAD.
• Familiarity with geostructural design software (Shoring Suite, LPILE, PLAXIS, Rocscience).
• Knowledge of AISC, ACI, AASHTO codes; field experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop calculation submittals and design/work drawings coordination.
• Support project pursuits and bids via preliminary evaluations.
• Mentor and support other engineers; coordinate with design and field teams.
• Travel periodically, though not a routine requirement.
