Job summary

Qualifications

• :Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering with geotechnical/structural emphasis.
• :Master’s desired in geotechnical or structural engineering.
• :4+ years of experience in design of earth retaining structures, deep foundations, or ground improvement.
• :Active PE license in any state.
• :Proficiency with MS Excel, Mathcad, AutoCAD.
• :Experience with geostructural design software (Shoring Suite, SNAIL, DeepEx, Ensoft, Rocscience, PLAXIS).
• :Knowledge of AISC, ACI, AASHTO codes.
• :Construction field experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop calculation submittals and design calculations.
• Coordinate development of design and shop drawings.
• Support project pursuits and bids through preliminary evaluations and analyses.
• Mentor and support other engineers; coordinate with design and field teams.
• Travel periodically but not as a routine requirement.
