SHINE Systems, based in Washington, DC, seeks expert Systems Engineers to lead multi‑discipline teams across NSG/ASG and Federal Agencies, aligning requirements, designs, and cloud/workflow strategies. You’ll drive lifecycle activities from requirements to integration and evaluation.

The role emphasizes AoAs/CoAs, trade studies, and strategic planning, with extensive experience in DoD/IC environments and a TS/SCI clearance. Collaboration with senior engineers across programs is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Systems Engineering or related STEM field, or 4 years additional equivalent experience.
• 18+ years of experience in DoD/IC Acquisition Process, Requirements Process, PPBES, or large System of Systems.
• Strong understanding of the systems engineering lifecycle.
• Knowledge of NSG/ASG and NRO enterprises; NGA/NSG/ASG program experience.
• TS/SCI clearance with ability to obtain polygraph.

Responsabilités

• Lead requirements engineering, solutions engineering, scheduling, reliability, resiliency, services development, integration, test and evaluation, maintainability and analysis across NSG, ASG and Federal Agencies.
• Plan and analyze user requirements, architectures traceability, procedures, and issues to automate or improve existing systems and review cloud service capabilities, workflow, and scheduling limitations.
• Advise on proposed changes to the solutions designs based on analysis of requirements and new technology.
• Translate mission and customer requirements into systems/capability requirements and solutions.
• Support analyses and allocation of requirements to system architecture components and executing programs.
• Assist in leading Analysis of Alternatives (AoAs), Course of Actions (CoAs), Trade Studies, and Engineering Assessments.
• Assist in strategic technical planning, project management, performance engineering, risk management and interface design.
