Job summary

Terracon seeks a senior Geophysicist to lead near-surface geophysical surveys, mentor staff, and provide data interpretation for infrastructure projects. You will design surveys, oversee field crews, and deliver high-quality reports guiding design and construction decisions.

Requirements include a geology/geophysics background, 7–10 years of experience, and willingness to travel. Strong leadership and client-facing skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Geology, Geophysics, or related field required.
• Master’s or PhD preferred for advanced roles.
• Minimum 7–10 years of experience in geophysics or related field.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow a team of geophysical professionals across projects of varying size and complexity.
• Direct field teams in geophysical surveys and data collection with QA/QC oversight.
• Develop written client proposals and review third-party proposals for quality and technical accuracy.
• Evaluate geophysical data and prepare written interpretive reports for project planning and design.
