Job summary

Terracon in Chattanooga seeks a senior geophysicist to lead near-surface surveys, mentor staff, and deliver geophysical data for infrastructure projects. You will design surveys, guide data interpretation, and develop field procedures.

You will work with radar, magnetometry, conductivity, resistivity, seismic methods, and utility locating, building a regional team and coordinating with operations leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead and train senior/geophysicist staff on surveys.
• Plan survey objectives and data interpretation.
• Supervise field crews and ensure safety compliance.
• Prepare client-ready reports and proposals.
• Collaborate with operations leadership and other SMEs.
