Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Geology or Geophysics.
• Minimum 5-8 years' experience.
• Master's degree or PhD preferred.
• A valid driver's license with acceptable violation history may be required.
• Ability to obtain registration as a Professional Geophysicist.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety rules, guidelines and standards for all projects; participate in pre-task planning.
• Provide and lead continuous quality monitoring and improvement on projects.
• Provide consistent quality standards on project and proposal delivery.
• Plan, schedule, conduct or coordinate detailed phases of work for major projects.
• Mentor junior Geophysicists and lead teams on medium projects.
• Perform geophysical analyses and prepare written reports.
• Attend client meetings on and off-site as needed.
• Direct and supervise field staff to sample, test and collect data.
