Job summary

Terracon is seeking a Senior Geologist/Hydrogeologist to lead complex environmental site investigations and interpret subsurface data. You will collaborate with engineers and environmental scientists on projects spanning earthwork foundations, well design, and seismic risk assessments.

Required qualifications include a Bachelor’s in Geology or related field, 9+ years of experience, a Professional Geologist (PG) designation, and Terracon Authorized Project Reviewer status.

Responsibilities

• Develop understanding of project-related risk and protect the Company.
• Lead safety efforts for the team and promote a safe work environment.
• Promote continuous quality monitoring and improvement on projects and monitor standards.
• Lead complex projects requiring innovative investigation techniques.
• Supervise analysis and formation of recommendations in written reports.
• Assist in updating policies/procedures for technical field projects.
• Provide technical direction and training to junior staff.
• Assist in development of marketing strategies and client presentations.
• Serve as an Authorized Project Reviewer.
