RESPEC is seeking an experienced Geochemist to lead our mining geochemistry and biogeochemistry practice. You will guide projects, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and support growth across North America with remote or office options.

The role offers career leadership, mentorship, and opportunities to deliver innovative solutions in mine water, tailings, and environmental projects. Travel is required for client engagements and field activities.

Qualificações

• Advanced degree in geochemistry or related field.
• Minimum 5+ years in mining geochemistry or environmental consulting.
• Experience leading technical consulting projects.
• PG/P.Geo registration or ability to obtain.
• Strong client management and business development.
• Excellent technical writing and presentations.

Responsabilidades

• Lead geochemical characterization programs for mining projects.
• Direct laboratory and field investigations related to mine waste and water.
• Interpret geochemical, environmental, hydrogeological data.
• Conduct and oversee predictive geochemical and hydrogeochemical modeling studies.
• Lead design and interpretation of laboratory testing programs.
• Review analyses and deliverables by junior staff.
• Prepare technical reports and client deliverables.
• Ensure technical quality across projects.
