Job summary

PacBio is seeking a Sr. Genomic Sales Specialist to drive growth across its sequencing portfolio in a multi-city territory.

You will act as the technical expert, guide customers through technology evaluations, and lead strategic sales opportunities in both research and clinical workflows. The role requires a BA/BS in Biological Sciences (Genomics) with 3+ years of life science sales, strong public speaking, and a proven track record of meeting targets.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in Biological Sciences, Genetics, Genomics, or related.
• Minimum 3+ years customer facing sales experience in life science/genomics or clinical research markets.
• Strong public speaking and communication skills.
• Ability to establish long-term customer relationships and meet sales targets.
• Willingness to travel ~50% and work from a home office within the territory.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to remove technical barriers and drive customer success.
• Develop relationships with laboratory directors, molecular pathologists, and clinical stakeholders.
• Support customers through technology evaluations, workflow discussions, and implementation strategies.
• Develop technical sales strategies to accelerate adoption in research, translational, and clinical markets.
• Meet or exceed revenue targets from PacBio instrumentation and consumables in the defined territory.
