Job summary

Energy Systems, a leading Generac Industrial Distributor, seeks a field technician to service generators and EPSS at customer sites in Corona, CA. You will perform mechanical, electrical, and troubleshooting tasks, including emergencies, PMs, and commissioning for industrial power systems.

Responsibilities include reading schematics, reporting findings, and maintaining Generac certifications. Strong communication and safety awareness are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• 4 years servicing and troubleshooting EPSS.
• Ability to obtain and maintain Generac certification for air-cooled and protector series.
• Knowledge of mechanical design, AC/DC circuitry, and power generation.
• Familiarity with diesel or gaseous engines and transfer switches.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical, electrical, troubleshooting and repair of generators.
• Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs during and outside hours as directed.
• Conduct scheduled preventative maintenance and repairs of generators.
• Read manuals, schematics and work orders to perform maintenance.
• Detect faults and report to service manager in a timely manner.
• Create reports for work performed in FieldServio and communicate findings.
