Job summary

GE Vernova seeks a Lead ITR Services Generator Engineer to ensure long-term reliability across the Inquiry-to-Remittance cycle. You will support outages, parts, repairs, and upgrades, including solution development and documentation.

Lead problem solving with customers, service centers, and teams, and drive corrective actions. This role emphasizes safety, quality, and continuous improvement, with potential travel to sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Engineering, or Physics.
• Knowledge of stator and rotor rewinding activities.
• Understanding of synchronous generator design, construction, and insulation technologies.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain engineering documentation including Test & Inspection Plans and Work Instructions.
• Plan and lead all engineering tasks during project execution.
• Provide engineering directions to customers and repair service centers ensuring safety and quality.
• Resolve NCR issues and lead engineering solutions.
• Respond to Engineering Requests with on-time delivery and high quality.
• Deliver projects with cost and quality targets while upholding safety.
• Lead RCAs and CAPA.
• Prepare proposals and scope definitions for generator upgrades and repairs.
• Support NPI development programs for new products.
• Suggest improvements to maintenance procedures for reliability.
• Support cost reduction and cycle reduction initiatives.
• Maintain accurate generator unit records and configuration.
