Job summary

MISO is seeking a Senior Engineer - Generator Interconnection to lead power system studies and manage generator interconnection projects across the MISO footprint. You will evaluate reliability impacts and serve as a technical resource for interconnection customers and Transmission Owners.

The role combines engineering analysis with project ownership and customer interaction, potentially serving as project manager for system impact studies from kickoff to completion.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical or related engineering field.
• 4+ years of job-related experience.
• Power system planning or operations experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage and perform system impact studies for generator interconnection requests.
• Review and evaluate projects proposed by Transmission Owners with technical recommendations.
• Serve as a subject matter expert, communicating study results to customers, Transmission Owners, and internal teams.
• Coordinate studies from kickoff through completion and align multiple stakeholders.
