Job summary

Century Mechanical Holdings is seeking a General Manager to drive strategic growth and operational excellence in residential Plumbing & HVAC. You will lead a team of technicians, partner with Ownership, and develop strategies to expand market presence, increase revenue, and improve profitability.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years of management experience in residential HVAC, a Construction Management mindset, and a proven history of building high-performing teams and improving operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum of ten (10) years full-time management experience in residential HVAC.
• Working knowledge of residential HVAC methods, techniques, systems and codes.
• Professional degree preferably in Construction Management or equivalent, but not required.
• Proven ability to build high-performing teams and lead with vision.
• Willingness to take on diverse tasks and drive process improvements.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass pre-employment background check.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations from executive leadership to field operations and safety.
• Ensure successful execution of Plumbing & HVAC service delivery within budget.
• Provide oversight and accountability for on-track project management.
• Mentor and coach operations team through recruitment, training and discipline.
• Drive development and continuous improvement of management practices and tools.
• Collaborate with Ownership on long- and short-term growth plans.
• Champion safety, quality and profitability to meet company objectives.
• Deliver timely, accurate operating reports to Ownership.
• Act as strategic partner among sales, service, installation, and operations.
