Job summary

Amentum seeks a General Maintenance Technician IV to join its operations & maintenance team on a three-month contract with potential extension. The role focuses on advanced maintenance, troubleshooting and preventive maintenance of HVAC, compressors, chillers, and other facility systems in a large industrial environment.

Candidate must diagnose industrial equipment, perform electrical/mechanical maintenance, and ensure safety compliance.

Qualifications

• Five years of maintenance experience in HVAC or mechanical repair.
• Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Knowledge of safety procedures and PPE usage.

Responsibilities

• Respond to work orders and perform preventive and corrective maintenance on HVAC, pumps, conveyors, and other industrial systems.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair and test electrical and mechanical equipment including HVAC and robotics.
• Safely operate lifts, cranes and hand tools; follow lockout/tagout procedures.
• Maintain equipment with CMMS and report issues to supervisor.
