Jobot is seeking a Permanent General Liability Attorney to handle high-stakes litigation, including insurance defense, premises and product liability, trucking, toxic tort, and asbestos. You will manage cases from discovery through trial and appeal, with a focus on research, strategy, and persuasive writing.

The ideal candidate has a JD, 5+ years as a trial attorney in general liability, and active TX bar admission, ready to thrive in a fast-paced environment with a strong ethical foundation.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.
• Bar admission in good standing (Texas).
• Minimum 5 years as a trial attorney in general liability.
• Proven experience with insurance defense and liability matters.
• Strong research and writing abilities demonstrated in filings.
• Experience with depositions, motions, discovery, and case management.
• Excellent trial and appellate practice experience.
• Familiar with arbitration, mediation, and client relations.
• Ability to handle a high caseload with professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Represent clients through all stages of litigation from filing to appeal.
• Prepare and argue motions, conduct depositions, and engage in discovery.
• Manage a caseload covering insurance defense, premises and product liability, and torts.
• Perform legal research and develop case strategies.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other documents.
• Negotiate settlements and represent clients in arbitration.
• Collaborate with attorneys and staff for effective case management.
• Maintain compliance with ethical and legal standards.
