Job summary

BCG Attorney Search is seeking a Senior General Liability Attorney to handle substantial defense litigation matters in Dallas, Texas. The role offers hybrid work flexibility, exposure to prominent national clients, and responsibilities across trial prep, depositions, and ongoing client communications.

The ideal candidate has a JD from an ABA-accredited school, Texas bar admission, and 8+ years of defense litigation experience, with a preference for general liability and related exposures.

Qualifications

• JD from an ABA accredited law school.
• Admitted to practice in the state of Texas.
• 8+ years of defense litigation experience.
• Experience with general liability, premises, products, transportation, construction, or insurance preferred.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage a complex defense litigation caseload from inception through resolution.
• Develop and implement case strategy, including early case assessment and trial preparation.
• Draft and argue substantive motions, pleadings, and legal memoranda in state and federal courts.
• Take and defend depositions, manage written discovery, and collaborate with expert witnesses.
• Represent clients at court hearings, mediations, and other dispute resolution proceedings.
• Provide strategic legal advice and regular case status updates to clients.
• Collaborate with partners and colleagues on complex litigation matters.
• Supervise and mentor junior attorneys and legal support staff.
• Participate in trial preparation, including witness preparation and trial strategy development.
• Maintain strong client relationships while delivering high-quality legal work.
