Travelers in Morristown, NJ seeks an experienced claims professional to investigate, evaluate and resolve General Liability Bodily Injury and Property Damage claims. You will manage file quality, reserve, negotiate and coordinate with insureds, attorneys and experts to drive principled, timely resolutions.

Ideal candidates bring a Bachelor's degree and 4+ years of bodily injury claim handling, strong negotiation skills, and thorough knowledge of coverage and litigation management.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree required.
• 4+ years bodily injury litigation claim handling experience.
• Strong knowledge of coverage, liability and damages analysis.
• Ability to independently decide on most cases with limited supervision.

Responsibilities

• Directly handles assigned severity claims.
• Provide quality customer service and timely coverage analysis.
• Investigate claims with policyholders, claimants, witnesses and experts.
• Establish reserves and manage indemnity/expense plans.
• Coordinate with Subrogation, Risk Control and other resources as needed.
• Negotiate disposition of claims with insureds and claimants or legal representatives.
