Job summary

Venbrook Claims is seeking an experienced Claims Adjuster to manage a caseload of General Liability, Construction Defect, and Professional Liability claims from first notice of loss through resolution. This fully remote role requires multi-state adjuster licensing and a solid track record in complex claims handling.

The ideal candidate brings 3–5 years of commercial claims experience, knowledge of tower and stackable coverage structures, and the ability to draft clear coverage letters

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of commercial claims handling experience in General Liability, Construction Defect, and/or Professional Liability
• Experience with tower (vertical) and stackable (layered) coverage structures
• Ability to draft clear, well-reasoned coverage position letters independently
• Experience directing outside defense counsel and managing litigation budgets
• Familiarity with multi-state claims handling requirements and New York regulations

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of General Liability, Construction Defect, and Professional Liability claims from first notice of loss through resolution
• Conduct thorough coverage analysis on new losses and issue coverage position letters
• Apply tower and stackable coverage structures accurately
• Investigate claims by gathering and analyzing contracts, certificates of insurance, site records, and expert reports
• Direct outside defense counsel and monitor litigation budgets
• Present status updates at client claim reviews and roundtables
• Maintain organized, compliant file documentation in the claims system
• Stay current on GL, construction defect, and professional liability law and multi-state regulations
