Job summary

Venbrook Claims is seeking an experienced Claims Adjuster to manage a diverse caseload of General Liability, Construction Defect, and Professional Liability claims in a fully remote role.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of commercial claims handling, knowledge of tower and stackable coverage structures, and active multi-state licensing (NY preferred). Registration with TPA experience is a strong asset for this role.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of commercial claims handling experience.
• Experience with tower (vertical) and stackable (layered) coverage structures.
• Active multi-state adjuster license required; New York license preferred.
• Prior TPA or third-party claims administration experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret legal documents and contracts.
• Proficiency with claims management systems and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of General Liability, Construction Defect, and Professional Liability claims from first notice of loss through resolution.
• Conduct thorough coverage analysis on new losses; issue timely, well-documented coverage positions.
• Direct outside defense counsel, manage litigation budgets, and attend mediations/settlements.
• Proactively communicate with insureds, brokers, and carriers on status and developments; prepare status reports.
• Maintain organized, compliant file documentation in the claims system; document decisions clearly.
• Stay current on GL, construction defect, and professional liability law and multi-state regulatory updates.
