Job summary

EY, a global leader in professional services, is seeking a General Ledger / Accounts Payable Senior Associate in the US. You will support day-to-day general ledger, accounts payable and expense functions, ensure compliance with GAAP, FAR, CAS, and EY policies, and assist with audits.

The role requires collaboration across finance teams and the use of Costpoint tools. You will report to the G&I General Ledger Senior leadership and contribute to timely financial reporting while advancing internal

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum of 4–6 years of related accounting experience.
• Experience with government contracting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, complex formulas, and lookups.

Responsibilities

• Maintain general ledger account structures and configurations in alignment with system design documentation.
• Ensure transactions comply with GAAP, FAR, CAS, and EY policies.
• Prepare journal entries and supporting schedules by deadlines.
• Maintain audit‑ready documentation and reconcile balance sheet and income statement accounts.
• Support internal and external audits with schedules and documentation.
• Process accounts payable vouchers and expense reports per internal policies and DFARS/CAS.
