Job summary

EY is seeking a General Ledger / Accounts Payable Senior Associate to support day‑to‑day GL and AP functions for EY’s US Government & Infrastructure practice. You will prepare journal entries, perform reconciliations, and assist with audits, while promoting compliance and timely financial reporting.

You will work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams and leverage Costpoint tools to enhance efficiency and accuracy, reporting to the G&I Finance leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field.
• Minimum 4–6 years of related accounting experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Maintain general ledger account structures and ensure GAAP/compliance.
• Process accounts payable and expense entries with proper documentation.
• Assist with period‑end close and reconciliation activities.
• Support internal and external audits with documentation and schedules.
• Collaborate across finance teams and drive process improvements.
