Job summary

McKesson is seeking a Treatment Center Account Director to expand and strengthen our network of Cell & Gene Therapy and advanced therapy centers. You will combine strategic account management, consultative selling, and healthcare expertise to drive new customers and grow partnerships across health systems, hospitals, and specialized clinics.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent experience with typically 10+ years of relevant experience.
• Consultative selling and strategic account management, business development, or sales within pharmaceuticals, or pharmaceutical distribution, specialty pharmacy, healthcare, biotech, or life sciences.
• Proven success winning new business and expanding complex, high-value healthcare accounts.
• Experience working with multiple senior healthcare decision-makers and navigating complex negotiations and contracting.
• Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical distribution and healthcare delivery.
• Cell & Gene Therapy, advanced therapies, specialty distribution, or treatment center experience strongly preferred.
• Strong business and financial acumen with excellent communication, negotiation, and influencing skills.
• Ability to work independently and effectively across a highly matrixed organization.

Responsibilities

• Identify and secure new Cell & Gene Therapy treatment center accounts through consultative selling while expanding relationships with existing customers.
• Develop strategic account and territory plans that drive growth, retention, and adoption of products and services.
• Build trusted relationships with clinical, operational, financial, and executive decision-makers.
• Lead and coordinate new customer contracting, onboarding, and implementation in partnership with internal teams.
• Provide consultative solutions around pharmaceutical distribution, specialty pharmacy services, technology, and treatment center needs.
• Educate customers on available services, solutions, and best practices to maximize value and performance.
• Partner across Sales, Operations, Finance, Pricing, Legal, and other functions to solve complex customer needs.
• Monitor market trends, customer needs, performance metrics, and growth opportunities.
