Job summary

U.S. Bank is seeking a Lead Engineer (GenAI) to design, build, and operationalize enterprise GenAI solutions.

You will lead architecture for LLMs, RAG, and agentic AI, and partner with product, security, and risk teams to ensure secure, scalable implementations. Responsibilities include end-to-end GenAI solution engineering, lifecycle management, and building scalable Python microservices with CI/CD in Azure and AWS.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of software engineering, platform engineering, or AI/ML solutions.
• 2+ years hands-on GenAI with LLMs, RAG architectures and vector databases.

Responsibilities

• GenAI solution engineering, design, deployment across enterprise.
• GenAIOps lifecycle, monitoring, and optimization.
• Cloud-based GenAI deployments on Azure and AWS.
• Python microservices development and CI/CD pipelines.
