Job summary

Provectus IT, Inc. is seeking an experienced software engineer to embed inside client teams and ship Claude + AWS systems into production in regulated industries.

You work as part of the customer’s team, own the method, and deliver production-grade solutions from discovery to deployment, with access to frontier models and real budgets. This full-time, on-site role in NYC offers unlimited vacation, health/dental, 401(k), and a compensation package up to $250k OTE.

Qualifications

• Typically 7+ years building software and hands-on today.
• Willing to learn a client’s domain before coding.
• Shipped GenAI/LLM systems to production, not demos.
• Built or owned an eval suite for non-deterministic systems.
• Strong engineering fundamentals; productive in unfamiliar code.
• Proficient in Python and/or TypeScript; depth matters.
• AWS cloud-native delivery; GCP/Azure a plus.
• Pre-sales experience; able to discuss with CTO and BU heads.
• Comfort with ambiguity and ownership; engagements underspecified.
• Hands-on Claude, Claude Code, and Cowork experience.

Responsibilities

• Spend initial weeks in operator's seat learning constraints and rebuild from first principles.
• Be part of the customer’s team, own the method autonomously.
• Use Provectus Blueprints as baseline; learn in field and feed back.
• Deliver across Cowork Activation, Agentic SDLC, and Blueprint Activations in Financial Services and Healthcare.
• Help shape how leading enterprises adopt AI, from strategy to deployment; build tooling and frameworks.
