Allstate seeks a Senior AI Cloud Platform Engineer to own GenAI cloud platforms, develop and operate hosting environments, and empower developers to deploy AI apps. You will focus on automation, infrastructure as code, and open-source tooling while collaborating with product teams and paired programming practices.

Responsibilities include building pipelines, managing cloud infrastructure, and ensuring scalable, reliable platform services across Azure, AWS, and Google cloud ecosystems.

Competenze

• 3+ years of experience (Preferred).
• Knowledge of Prompt Engineering, Agentic and AI open-source ecosystem.
• Experience with Google Vertex AI.
• Experience and skills with Azure Application and AI services.
• Experience with AWS Bedrock (Preferred).
• Knowledge of consuming large language model (LLM) and Foundational model APIs.
• Experience in Terraform development.

Mansioni

• Serves as an anchor to enable Digital product team to GenAI analytics Platform, delivering product demos and proofs of concept.
• Writes and builds continuous delivery pipelines to manage the lifecycle of platform components.
• Builds, manages and operates the infrastructure as a service layer (hosted and cloud-based platforms).
• Leads post mortem activities to identify systemic solutions and improves policies and procedures.
• Identifies and troubleshoots availability and performance issues across deployment layers.
• Evaluates performance trends and capacity needs to plan scalability.
• Integrates components and develops new services focusing on open source to minimize developer friction.
• Maintains and enhances Terraform codebase.
