Job summary

Allstate is seeking a Senior AI Cloud Platform Engineer to own and operate GenAI cloud platforms, building self-service tools for developers to deploy AI apps.

You will drive CI/CD pipelines, manage infrastructure as code with Terraform, and collaborate across teams to scale and automate platform operations. Experience with Vertex AI, Azure AI, AWS Bedrock is valued. Hybrid/remote work options available.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in cloud platforms and GenAI engineering.
• Experience with Vertex AI, Azure AI services, AWS Bedrock a plus.
• Proficiency with Terraform and IaC practices.

Responsibilities

• Enable Digital product teams to GenAI analytics Platform and deliver demos.
• Write and build continuous delivery pipelines to automate platform components.
• Manage infrastructure-as-a-service layers for hosted and cloud platforms.
• Lead post-mortem activities to improve operations and policies.
• Identify and troubleshoot availability and performance issues at multiple deployment layers.
• Evaluate performance trends and plan capacity and scalability.
• Integrate components and develop new services focusing on open source to reduce friction for developers.
• Automate infrastructure and platform environments using IaC and automation tooling.
• Maintain and enhance existing Terraform codebase.
