Job summary

System One in Linden, NJ is seeking a GCMS Chemist to perform raw material analysis and testing using GCMS. This onsite role runs 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, Monday–Friday, with compensation of $80,000–$95,000.

The ideal candidate has a BS in Chemistry, 5–10 years in a cosmetic/chemical lab, 5+ years GCMS experience, and testing skills in IR, pH and viscosity. System One provides comprehensive benefits and equal opportunity employment.

Qualifications

• BS Degree in Chemistry or related science.
• Analytical testing experience (IR, pH, Viscosity, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Raw material analysis / testing via GCMS.
• Water content, pH testing, acidity.
• Testing solvents via GCMS for contaminants.
• Equipment troubleshooting.
• Ability to write protocols.
• Ability to work independently.
