A leading analytical testing service provider in Tustin, CA, is seeking a Chemist I to prepare and analyze environmental samples using GCMS technology. Candidates should possess at least one year of relevant laboratory experience. The role entails evaluating measurement data, maintaining equipment, and ensuring compliance with safety protocols. Qualifications

• 1+ years’ experience operating a GC or GCMS in a production laboratory setting.
• Ability to perform and evaluate basic mathematical calculations and formulas.
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze environmental samples following EPA protocols.
• Evaluate chromatography and mass spectra for qualitative and quantitative criteria.
• Upload and peer review data using the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS).
• Maintain instrument calibrations in accordance with laboratory QAQC requirements.
• Conduct daily duties in an efficient and safe manner.
