Job summary

Eversource Energy is seeking a Gas Control System Supervisor to operate the 24/7 gas control center for MA/CT, ensuring safe, reliable gas flows and odors within regulatory and CRM standards.

The role requires 5+ years in an operational/managerial gas environment, a Bachelor's in Engineering, and strong communication. This safety-sensitive position may involve on-site work, emergency responsiveness, and travel between MA/CT as needed.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent field.
• Five or more years of related work experience in an operational/managerial environment.
• High degree of technical knowledge in natural gas transmission and distribution operations.

Responsibilities

• Monitors and operates the gas distribution system within prescribed limits.
• Provides 24/7 authorization to proceed for qualified work.
• Directs personnel to respond to SCADA alarms and make system changes.
• Coordinates field maintenance activities and safety procedures.
• Maintains CRM documentation and completes shift turnover per CRM.
• Oversees LNG forecasting, dispatch, and vaporization processes.
