CD PROJEKT RED is seeking a Senior Gameplay Designer to work on Cyberpunk 2, with responsibilities to design, implement, and iterate core gameplay systems aligned with the high-level design vision. The role reports to the Lead Gameplay Designer and can be performed onsite in Boston, MA or fully remote from the US (select states) or Canada.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in the AAA game industry in a game design role.
• Proven success creating compelling and innovative gameplay mechanics.
• Experience developing shooters, open world, roleplaying and/or action games.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and evolving project needs, willingness to experiment, and a commitment to high-quality work.
• A positive and collaborative approach that contributes to a friendly and supportive team environment.

Responsabilités

• Proposing innovative and engaging designs, fulfilling in the game direction.
• Analyzing, pitching, prototyping, developing, and balancing moment-to-moment gameplay, abilities, and mechanics.
• Collaborating and producing in a cross-discipline environment while building and refining designs over time using internal/external feedback.
• Remaining current on industry trends including new game genres, new game design methods and techniques, and trending audio-visual excellence.
