CD PROJEKT RED in the United States is seeking a Senior Gameplay Designer to shape the core gameplay for Cyberpunk 2. The role supports onsite Boston, MA with relocation assistance for US-based candidates or fully remote work from the US or Canada.

As a Senior Gameplay Designer you will design, implement, and iterate features and systems that align with the high-level vision, collaborating across disciplines to balance moment-to-moment gameplay and drive player-first experiences.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in the AAA game industry in a game design role.
• Proven success creating compelling and innovative gameplay mechanics.
• Experience developing shooters, open world, roleplaying and/or action games.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and evolving project needs, willingness to experiment, and a commitment to high-quality work.
• A positive and collaborative approach that contributes to a friendly and supportive team environment.

Job Description

CD PROJEKT RED is looking for a Senior Gameplay Designer to work on Cyberpunk 2, the follow-up to Cyberpunk 2077 and the next major video game in the Cyberpunk franchise. As a Senior Gameplay Designer you'll be tasked to design, implement, and iterate on features, mechanics, and core gameplay systems that fulfill the game’s high-level design vision. We are looking for an ambitious individual with a strong design voice who will bring kindness, respect, and a player-first mindset to everything they do.

Reporting to the Lead Gameplay Designer, this role can be performed onsite in Boston, MA (relocation assistance is available for US-based candidates), or fully remote from the US (select states) or Canada.

Daily Responsibilities

Nice to Haves: (please note these skills are not required to apply)

• Experience with Unreal Engine 4 and/or 5.
• Experience working across multiple stages of AAA game production.
• A deep knowledge of our games, and other narrative or role playing focused games.
• Passion for the cyberpunk genre and games.

Additional Information

Estimated pay range for this position: $112,200 -185,100 USD annually

At CD PROJEKT RED compensation for our roles in North America are determined based on competitive market data, geographic location, and individual factors tied to business needs. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. Final offers aredependent on job-related factors like experience, qualifications, and location.
