Specialty1 Partners is seeking an Internal Accounting Auditor to support its accounting and financial reporting functions. The role focuses on researching and interpreting complex U.S.

GAAP guidance, preparing technical accounting memoranda, and aiding the preparation of financial statements and disclosures. The ideal candidate has strong GAAP knowledge, excellent research and writing skills, and can communicate conclusions clearly to management, auditors, and stakeholders while coordinating

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.
• Master's degree in Accounting preferred.
• CPA certification required or actively pursuing.

Responsibilities

• Support audit by working with SVP of Accounting.
• Review journal entries for GAAP adherence.
• Research complex accounting matters under U.S. GAAP.
• Prepare technical memoranda and disclosures.
• Assist month-end close and financial reporting.
• Coordinate with external auditors.
• Develop accounting policies and policy documents.
• Lead accounting research on significant transactions.
• Drive new accounting standard implementations.
