Job summary

Mutual of America Financial Group is seeking a Lead Fund Administration Analyst to oversee fund accounting, custody operations, performance reporting, regulatory reporting, board reporting, and service provider management.

The role involves monitoring third-party providers, ensuring regulatory compliance, delivering management and board reporting, and leveraging AI-enabled tools to improve efficiency across fund operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or related field.
• 5–7 years in mutual fund accounting, fund administration, investment operations, or regulatory reporting.
• Strong Excel skills including Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, data validation, and advanced formulas.
• Understanding of NAV calculations, fund expenses, financial statements, and performance reporting.
• Experience preparing investment performance reports and Board materials.
• Experience with fund service providers and custody operations.
• Experience using AI-enabled tools to improve reporting and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Analyze mutual fund performance against benchmarks and peers.
• Prepare materials for Board and Committee meetings and governance reporting.
• Assist with SEC reporting requirements including N-PORT, N-CEN, and Form N-CSR.
• Prepare client, private client, and shareholder reporting packages.
• Develop reporting tools and dashboards; validate data across systems.
