Job summary

Mutual of America Financial Group is seeking a Lead Fund Administration Analyst in New York, NY (hybrid) to oversee fund accounting, custody operations, and performance reporting. You will manage regulatory reporting, board materials, and service-provider governance, improving reporting with AI-enabled tools.

The role requires 5–7 years in fund operations, strong Excel skills, and experience with investment reporting packages.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or related field.
• 5–7 years in mutual fund accounting, fund administration, or related fields.
• Strong Excel skills: Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, Index/Match, data validation.
• Understanding of NAV, fund expenses, financial statements, and performance reporting.
• Experience with board materials and client reporting packages.
• Familiarity with custodians, fund admins, transfer agents, and pricing vendors.
• Experience using AI-enabled tools to improve reporting and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Analyze mutual fund performance against benchmarks and peers.
• Prepare Board materials and governance metrics.
• Coordinate information from internal departments and third-party providers.
• Assist with SEC reporting and regulatory disclosures.
• Develop and maintain reporting dashboards and data tools.
• Validate data and automate reporting processes with AI-enabled tools.
