Job summary

Transamerica Asset Management is seeking a Senior Manager, Fund Administration to lead strategic fund administration initiatives across mutual funds and ETFs. You will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, drive governance, and ensure regulatory alignment, controls, and timely resolutions of issues.

The role focuses on improving shareholder outcomes, risk mitigation, and scalable processes while partnering with senior leadership to deliver operational excellence across the fund

Qualifications

• Eight years of experience in registered fund administration ('40 Act mutual funds and/or ETFs), fund accounting, financial reporting, or product implementation.
• Expertise in board reporting and SEC filing processes for mutual funds and ETFs.
• Strong understanding of fund operations, including NAV calculation, custody, transfer agency, valuation, liquidity, and expense management.
• Excellent project management, organization, and communication skills.
• Proficient in MS Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end governance process for fund administration initiatives, including stakeholder alignment and Board materials.
• Lead cross-functional implementation efforts for approved initiatives, coordinating readiness and post-implementation validation.
• Serve as escalation point for fund administration issues and operational events with root cause analysis and remediation.
• Develop and deliver Board and committee reporting related to strategic initiatives, risks, and metrics.
• Support regulatory reporting and disclosure requirements and ensure accurate filings.
• Support treasury-related activities and governance matters, including liquidity and expenses oversight.
• Oversee NAV governance, pricing, and fair valuation processes with proper documentation.
• Lead service provider oversight and relationship management, aligning with SLAs and KPIs.
• Champion continuous improvement to strengthen controls and scalability.
